Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page explains how cancellations and refunds work at Mockups Generator. We want the rules to be clear before you ever pay us a cent. Right now, billing is not yet enabled: every feature is free, all renders are watermark-free, and there is nothing to cancel or refund. The terms below describe how we will handle cancellations and refunds once paid plans launch, so there are no surprises. If anything here is unclear, email us at support@mockupsgenerator.com.

Billing Is Not Yet Enabled

Mockups Generator is free-first. At the time this policy takes effect, we do not charge for any part of the Service. The free plan includes 50 renders per calendar month (renewing monthly, with free unlimited editor previews). You can upload PSD smart-object templates and design images, render photorealistic mockups, use the public template library, call our REST API with webhooks, embed our editor, and download print files — all without paying and without a watermark on your output.

Paid plans are coming soon. Until billing is switched on for your account, none of the charge-related sections below can apply to you, because there are no charges to refund or subscriptions to cancel. When paid tiers do launch, we will make the pricing, plan limits, and billing terms clear before you are asked to enter any payment details.

Once billing is enabled, payments will be processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we only retain a Stripe customer and subscription identifier so we can manage your plan.

Cancelling Your Subscription

When paid plans are live, you will be able to cancel at any time — there are no cancellation fees and no need to contact us first, though we are always happy to help if you prefer.

Cancellation stops future billing. Here is what to expect:

  • You keep full access to your paid features through the end of the period you have already paid for. If you cancel mid-month on a monthly plan, your paid features stay active until that month ends.
  • After the paid period ends, your account moves to the free tier rather than being closed. You keep your account, your uploaded templates, and your rendered files.
  • No further charges are made once you cancel. Your plan simply does not renew.
  • You can cancel from your account billing settings, or by emailing support@mockupsgenerator.com and asking us to cancel for you.

Our Refund Stance

Mockups Generator is a digital subscription service: when you are on a paid plan, you have continuous access to rendering, the API, the embeddable editor, and your stored files for the period you paid for. Because access is delivered immediately and continuously, paid time that has already been used is generally non-refundable.

That said, we handle refund requests fairly and on a case-by-case basis. If something went wrong on our side — for example a billing error, a duplicate charge, or a sustained outage that stopped you using what you paid for — we will make it right, typically by issuing a prorated or full refund for the affected period.

If you simply forgot to cancel before a renewal and have not meaningfully used the new period, reach out — we would rather keep you as a happy free-tier user than hold onto a charge you did not intend to make.

EU and UK Consumers: Cooling-Off Period

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to a 14-day cooling-off period when you first subscribe to a paid plan, during which you can cancel for a refund.

Please note an important exception that applies to digital services: if you ask us to begin providing the paid service immediately (for example, by starting to render or use paid API capacity during the cooling-off window) and acknowledge that you may lose your cancellation right, your right to a refund may be reduced or no longer apply to the portion you have already used.

Nothing in this policy removes or limits any rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws that apply to you. If you believe a cooling-off right applies to you, email support@mockupsgenerator.com and we will process it.

Failed Renders and Partial Bulk Jobs

We only bill for work that is actually delivered. This principle holds on every plan.

Specifically:

  • Failed renders are never billed. If a render does not complete successfully — whether due to a problem with a template, a malformed file, or an error on our side — it does not count against any paid quota and you are not charged for it.
  • Partial bulk jobs bill only for completed work. If you submit a batch of renders and only some finish successfully, only the renders that completed are counted. The ones that failed are not billed.
  • If you ever see a charge or a quota deduction that includes failed or incomplete work, contact us and we will correct it.

How to Request a Refund or Cancel

Once billing is enabled, you will have two simple ways to cancel or request a refund:

  • From your account: open your billing or subscription settings to cancel your plan or stop it renewing.
  • By email: write to support@mockupsgenerator.com from the address on your account. Tell us whether you want to cancel, request a refund, or both, and include any detail about a billing error or failed render so we can look into it quickly.

Your Files and Data After Cancellation

Cancelling a paid plan does not delete your work. Your rendered files persist until you choose to delete them, and your uploaded PSD templates and design images remain private to your account.

You retain ownership and intellectual-property rights in the designs you upload and the mockups you render, on the free tier and on any paid plan. We do not use your uploaded files to train models. (If you have chosen to publish a template to our public library, that grant of a license to display it is governed by our Terms and is separate from billing — cancelling a paid plan does not by itself withdraw a published template.)

If you want your account and stored files removed entirely, you can delete them yourself or ask us at support@mockupsgenerator.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy as the Service evolves — most notably when paid plans launch and billing is switched on. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know.
