What the product does
Mockups Generator places artwork in supported mockup templates. Use the browser editor for one image, saved projects for repeatable setups, collections for multiple outputs, and the REST API for automation.
Templates and compatibility
Import PSDs with embedded smart objects or prepare a product-photo template. Review detected artwork areas and the compatibility report. Not every Photoshop effect is supported. The original illustrated library samples are not product photographs or manufacturer specifications.
Saved work
Named projects retain artwork references, placement and export settings. Reopen, duplicate, archive or restore a project, and download version snapshots. Original artwork and templates must remain available. Conflicting saves require review.
Image collections
Plan up to 1,000 images per collection job. Review a representative sample, then export images and manifest.json in a ZIP. Choose original sizing or one fixed output profile per job. Fixed profiles fit the whole scene on a white canvas and do not add detail. Product recoloring requires configured color targets.
Image outputs
Mockup exports support PNG, JPEG and WebP, with an output width up to 8192 pixels subject to the endpoint and settings. PNG and WebP can preserve transparency where the template and export mode support it. JPEG does not preserve transparency.
Flat artwork and print checks
Flat PNG exports use the artwork area's source resolution with DPI metadata. Physical print checks compare requested dimensions and effective artwork resolution. Bleed coverage, safe-area content and printer acceptance require manual review. Collection ZIPs do not contain these separate print files.
Free plan and completed-image billing
The free plan includes 25 completed exports per calendar month, five saved templates and PSD uploads up to 25 MB. Editor previews are free and results have no watermarks. Paid allowances reset at monthly renewal; unused renders do not roll over. See Pricing for current paid-plan availability.
API and webhook contracts
The REST API supports synchronous rendering, background jobs and collections. Idempotency-Key applies to single async render jobs and editor-export requests; collections use a JSON idempotency_key. Signed webhooks use durable retries and at-least-once delivery, so receivers must deduplicate event IDs. Synchronous, print-file and AI calls do not inherit that idempotency contract.
Integration availability
Available: REST API, signed webhooks, the existing iframe editor, HTTP integration guides and a supplied n8n collection workflow. Native Shopify/Etsy publishing, team proof approvals, official SDKs/MCP and a video workflow remain planned. HTTP recipes require configuration in the external service.
How to evaluate a workflow
Use a template and artwork representative of your own work. Inspect the compatibility report, compare a full-size export, test the output dimensions, and review a collection manifest. Rendering time depends on the inputs, quality settings and server load; no universal speed or Photoshop-equivalence guarantee is made.
